Imagine waking up in a different country every month with not a single worry in the world. Sounds too good to be true right? Well we are going to show you how to make this dream a reality. We have both come from working backgrounds, One of us working in hospitality and the other working in retail. We both know the struggles of going to work 5 or 6 days a week, dealing with difficult customers, staffing issues, complaining bosses, argumentative co-workers and feeling undervalued. But what if I told you from reading this FREE article, we can help you change your life and take the next step to giving yourself the freedom you deserve. What's even better, you can do this all from a mobile phone or computer! It takes some time to set yourself up but with some dedication and determination the possibilities are endless. In 2022, we went on our first holiday after being in 'lockdown' for what felt like an eternity. Being in that situation made us realise life really is too short and you only get one shot at it. So we decided to go on as many holidays as we could, see as many things as we could and make a million memories. The worst part about this is because we've done so many, we are now addicted to travelling and can't stop! In the last 12 months we have been to 12 different countries with plans for many more in the future. We did all this whilst working a regular job, but from our experiences of travelling and earning we've got some top tips on how to do it without having to come back to what most call 'reality.'

Step 1

It all starts with you. Are YOU ready to make this commitment and change your life for the better? If no, then don't give up, keep thinking about it and do things at your own pace. But if YES, then keep reading. There is no time like the present when it comes to changing your life, don't live life waiting for others to do it before you, do it now!

Step 2

Once you have established that you are ready, then it's time to decide on an idea. What do you want to put your time and focus into? Our idea was to travel the world whilst doing our vlog, blog and creating content. You can also do this, or you can choose another path to go down. But our experience with Travel Blogging has been amazing so we would definitely recommend it. Once you have your idea you then need a Niche. What are you going to specialise in?

Step 3

Now you have your idea and decided what you'll be specialising in, you need to set up a website, social media platform and create some interesting content. This is probably the most time consuming (but most important) process of the whole thing. This is what will gain the attention of people and attract more traffic to your page. The effort you put in at this stage will be worth it at the end of all the steps when you have great content ready for viewers to read. We made our website using a company called IONOS. The link is a referral link, which means you get a bonus if you sign with the link attached. Creating a social media post and sponsoring the post (possibly how you are here today) is another great way to start the traffic flow to your pages. This can be done with most major social media platforms and also is relatively cheap and worth the investment. We recommend posting at least twice a day on your social media platforms and doing one blog post a week on your chosen topic. Try to keep it as interesting and unique as possible, think outside the box when making posts or writing blogs, what will people enjoy to read and what will keep viewers interested.

Step 4

Now that you have a developed idea, a website, social media plaforms and content, it's time to START EARNING. There are so many different ways which you can make money whilst travel blogging. Some people (like us and hopefully you very soon) work remotely and can work whilst travelling, whereas others work temporary jobs in each different location they travel to. Both are great options, but if you are like us and have commitments at home, then you can't always travel for more than several weeks at a time. The good news is, there are so many different ways to make money from your travel blog or social media account. 

1. Start by building up your audience and traffic to your website and social media pages, by creating high quality content and informative blog posts. Use tools such as sponsored posts to direct traffic to your website or social media pages. It's important to make sure your Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is at the best it can be, research key words for your niche, create easy reading content and make unique page headings.
2. Then join companies which offer Affiliate Marketing roles. Affiliate Marketing is a way to earn money by promoting other people's services or products. This is a great way to monetize your travel blog. There are several companies you can sign up for and start earning with such as Travelpayouts.com, DiscoverCars.com, Fiverr.com or Viator.com. 3. Once you have a constant traffic flow into your website, you can reach out to companies that are relevant to your niche and offer to promote their products or services on your blog. You can review hotels, products or anything else travel related.
4. Create your own services or products; such as travel guides, E-books or photographs. Use websites such as Fiverr to offer your services on, with a traffic of over 4.2 million buyers in 2022, it would be silly not to take advantage of the free platform and promote your idea.
5. Advertise using various companies such as GoogleAds or RevContent. All you have to do is display the ads on your blog and earn money based on the clicks or impressions, it's really that easy! Some companies have certain requirements such as a minimum traffic flow whereas others have no requirements and you can start earning from day 1.
6. Freelance writing is another great way to earn whilst you travel. With a thriving travel blog as your portfolio, you can apply to various companies as a Freelance writer and be paid amounts from £1-£5 per 100 words. If you're a quick at typing then imagine how much you could earn per hour! Try websites such as The Urban Writers or Travel Magazine for job opportunities in Freelance writing.

Step 5

To get to this step, it could have taken you weeks, months or years depending on the level of commitment you set yourself. But the hard work is worth it, when you have the freedom to do what you want and travel as much as you desire. Remember we are just as 'normal' as you and we had the same dreams that you have, but it's about taking that next step to be a better version of yourself. Travel Blogging is not easy, but if you put that effort in at the beginning then the rest of your life will be a dream. Work hard, play hard, earn more, travel further.
