So many people ask us for our opinion on the most exquisite hotel in Los Angeles - and The Beverly Hills Hotel has to be a very strong contender for this award. This 5* hotel, nestled behind soaring palm trees on sunset boulevard, lies the most exclusive and contemporary designed hotel. Built in 1912 - as one of the first hotels in the area, the 'Pink Palace' is a historic destination for the most famous of guests. Can you guess some of the biggest stars to have stayed here?

As you drive into the hotel grounds, you're met with smartly dressed valet drivers as they proceed to unload your bags onto the luggage caddies and park your vehicle, the grand red carpet awaits you as you enter this historical landmark. The white marble circle lobby is breathtaking with an area for relaxation and to escape the hustle and bustle of L.A - with a fireplace which is lit every single day of the year. We checked in at 3pm and collected our keys, then headed down the luxurious green carpet hallways walking past the vibrant palm tree wallpaper. We stayed in a Superior King Room, which is elegantly designed with a luxurious king bed, white marble bathroom and TV in both the bedroom and the bathroom mirror! This room cost us £942 per night for a room-only basis.

The hotel has it's very own bakery, herb garden, makes it's own vinegar and smokes it's own meats - now that's impressive. It has 4 restaurants and bars in this hotel - The Cabana Cafe, The Fountain Coffee Room, Polo Lounge and Bar Nineteen12. The Beverly Hills Hotel's most famous restaurant is the Polo Lounge - it's known as the epicenter of dining in L.A. with some of the biggest celebs visiting here throughout the years. The dish to try on this menu would be the Neil McCarthy Salad, which was named after the polo playing millionaire.

The Beverly Hills Hotel is well known for it's pool - infact it's like being on a movie set! The tall palm trees, bright blue water, cute looking cabanas and A-Z listers, poolside at this hotel has it all. The pool is open from 7am-10pm daily, plays underwater music and is heated to a whopping 27.8˚C. Hiring one of the cabanas is a great option for a relaxing day by the pool, they are fully furnished with Apple TV, phone charging stations, safe, mini fridge, bath robes, TV and lounge chairs for 4 people. It will cost you around £ and you need to be a hotel guest to book this. You can just send a message via this link to enquire about booking a cabana - we suggest you try to do it a few weeks in advance as they get booked up!
